When you workout with Bruce Studios, you must always check in, both for booked classes and solo training.
Here’s how you check-in:
- Open the Bruce Studios app and tap the "check-in" button.
- Scan the QR code located on-site at the studio (usually by the reception). If you can't find it, please ask the staff and they will help you
- Show the ticket displayed in the app to the receptionist or instructor at the studio.
Please note that a studio can never check you in. Even if you're already checked in within their system, you must always check in via the Bruce Studios app as described above. If a studio claims they have checked you in, it is only recorded in their own system and not in the Bruce Studios platform. Failure to self-check-in as instructed could result in attendance issues, such as being marked as a no-show.
What Happens If You Forget to Check In?
If you forget to check in for a session, you will not be officially recorded as attending, which could lead to being flagged as a no-show. Unfortunately, Bruce Studios cannot retroactively check you in after the session. To resolve this, you must manually report your attendance to Bruce Studios support.
Resolving No-Show Disputes
If you are flagged for a no-show despite being present, here’s how to resolve it:
- Collect information about the session, including class name, instructor, and any unique details.
- Use the Bruce Studios app to contact support, providing the above details.
- After verification, your attendance will be updated manually.
Common Issues and Misunderstandings
- Studios might claim to have registered your attendance, but this is not reflected in the Bruce system since they operate separately.
- Network issues could prevent QR code scanning; ensure stable connectivity before self-check-in.
Tips for Avoiding Check-In Problems
- Always ensure you scan the QR code before your session begins.
- If technical difficulties arise, take pictures and contact support immediately using the app.
- Keep detailed information about sessions to assist with any potential disputes.
